Dr Alisha Azmir is a specialist consultant surgeon based in Canberra, ACT. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons trained in minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of benign and malignant colorectal conditions.

Dr Alisha Azmir has trained in colorectal surgery through the Australia and New Zealand Training Board in Colon and Rectal Surgery. She has public hospital appointments at Canberra Hospital & North Canberra Hospital. She also works privately through Calvary Private Hospital Bruce & National Capital Private Hospital.

Prior to this, she was awarded a Fellowship to the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in General Surgery in 2018. Her general surgical training was completed in Western Sydney and regional NSW.
Dr Azmir attended medical school at the Australian National University and has also obtained a Master of Surgery from the University of Sydney. Her undergraduate studies also included a Bachelor of IT through the University of Technology Sydney.
